Initial Consultation
The first step in the staging process is an in-home evaluation and consultation. We will conduct a room-by-room walk-through of your home, yard and detached structures and review our recommendations with you.  You will receive a detailed written report within three to five business days.  The fee for this service is based on the size of the home and yard.

Action Plan
After the initial consultation, Home Sweet Home Staging will work with you to develop a plan of action to prepare your home for market.  Whether you need staging for one room or the entire house, we will create a plan that fits your needs and budget.  Home Sweet Home Staging will also provide an estimate for the action plan and/or refer you to other service providers or contractors for specific tasks. 

Of course every home will have unique staging needs, but here are a few of the most common services we can provide or refer:

• Furniture rental (for vacant homes)

HOME REDESIGN SERVICES

Want to refresh or update your space without breaking the bank? Then consider a home redesign.  It’s an economical way to bring new life to a space using some existing pieces and as well as a few design or décor changes.  In as little as one day, we can transform rooms you ‘live with’ into rooms you’ll love again.  You can book consultations for one hour or as many as you need.

We can provide:

• color consultations to define paint and decor colors
• ideas to improve the flow and function of a room by rearranging furniture, lighting and accessories
• recommendations for adding new pieces
• shopping services
• referrals for painters, carpenters or other trades people

                  
HOME ORGANIZATON SERVICES

Whether your goal is to reduce clutter, develop a workflow to manage paper, or sort and organize items for easy storage and retrieval, we can help you develop organization systems that work for you and your particular needs.  Best of all, getting organized can help save time and money as well as reduce stress and frustration. 

Needs Assessment
We will meet with you to discuss your needs, wants and goals as well as what is and isn’t working.  Then we’ll provide our recommendations and work with you to develop a strategy to resolve your organizing challenge.

Organizing Solutions:

• Hands-on Organizing Sessions – In-home consultation during the organizing project. Many homeowners find it beneficial to have a professional organizer work alongside them throughout the organizing process, not only to keep them on task and reach their goals, but also to learn skills and changes in behavior that will help them stay organized.
• Organizing prior to Move – Organizing and purging unwanted belongings prior to a move can reduce packing time and moving costs.  We can also develop a packing and unpacking plan so that the move-in and set-up in your new home goes smoothly.
• Downsizing – We can help you pare down your furnishings and donate, sell, or dispose of unwanted items.
• Maintenance – The homeowner may request a follow-up maintenance session to work through any questions or new challenges that have come up with their organizational system.
